2025 End of Year Recap Newsletter

Brought to you by InfiniteIsh1

🦁✨ 2025: A Year of Protection, Power & Purpose āœØšŸ›”ļø

In 2025, technology moved fast — and families felt it. AI and new digital tools promised convenience, but they also brought new risks into our everyday lives. Online scams became more convincing, privacy felt easier to lose, and the line between ā€œhelpfulā€ and ā€œharmfulā€ blurred quickly. One thing became clear this year: families are now on the front lines of digital safety.

As Malwarebytes pointed out:

For me, this year reinforced something I’ve always believed — protecting our homes today goes beyond locks and alarms. It means understanding the apps our children use, being intentional about the tools we bring into our spaces, and thinking carefully about what we share and who we trust online. At Lioness Instincts, 2025 reminded us that digital protection is an act of care — and when families are informed, they are empowered. šŸ§”šŸ›”ļø

Our 2025 Recap

Thank You for Powering Our Impact!

As we close out this year, we want to pause and say thank you.

None of the impact below would have been possible without the generosity, belief, and continued support of our donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community. Your contributions didn’t just fund programs — they created access, safety, confidence, and opportunityĀ for women and children in both physical and digital spaces.

Because of you, we were able to turn vision into action.

šŸ„‹ Grappling & Competition Access Impact

This year, your support helped us remove barriers for women and youth in competitive grappling:

  • 2 rounds of sponsorship fundingĀ awarded

  • 16 competition entries fundedĀ for ChickJitsu (February 2025)

  • Expanded competition accessĀ with:

    • 2 additional children’s divisions

    • 5 additional women’s divisions

These sponsorships meant more athletes on the mats, more first-time competitors stepping forward, and more women and kids experiencing the confidence that comes from showing up and being supported.

šŸ” Digital Privacy & Online Safety Impact

In a world where online safety is no longer optional, your support allowed us to scale education and awareness:

  • 8 online safety & digital privacy workshops hosted

  • Hundreds of attendees educatedĀ on protecting their data, identities, and families

  • Digital Privacy Team grown to 6 dedicated volunteers, supporting:

    • Speaking engagements

    • Social media education

    • Website creation

    • Newsletter and resource development

This team is now laying the foundation for sustainable, ongoing digital safety education well into next year.

šŸ›”ļø Women’s Self-Defense & Community Training

Your donations directly supported hands-on, real-world self-defense training:

  • 10 women’s self-defense classes hosted at Mattix

  • Women’s Jiu-Jitsu class hosted at Smiley Martial Arts

Each class created space for women to build confidence, physical skills, and community — often for the very first time.

šŸ’› From All of Us — Thank You

Every workshop taught, every competition entry funded, every class hosted happened because you chose to invest in safety, strength, and empowerment.

Your support is helping us build a future where:

  • Women feel confident defending themselves — online and offline

  • Children have access to safe, inclusive competition spaces

  • Communities are educated, prepared, and empowered

We are deeply grateful to walk this journey with you.

Thank you for believing in the mission.Thank you for fueling the impact.Thank you for protecting the pride.
